Professional Actor/Singer, Fitness Coach
Chris Trussell, the co-founder and owner of Daily Apple, began his fitness career in 1992 at the YMCA in Brockville, Ontario with a specialty in children’s fitness and sports coaching. He obtained his NLS, Red Cross and Lifesaving Society certifications, focusing on water training for both recreational & rehabilitation purposes. Chris has taught and coached at private clubs, high schools, United Way funded programs and YMCAs across Southern Ontario.
Chris is also a professional actor and singer. He studied at the Crane School of Music in Potsdam, NY for vocal performance in 1992. In 1994 he attended the University of Windsor for the BFA Music Theatre Performance program and Sheridan College for the concurrent program in Music Theatre Performance.
Chris’ professional performing career has taken him across Ontario, the United States, and Europe during the past 14 years. He is a member of the Canadian Actors Equity Association and ACTRA and has been featured in many films, television and theatre productions. He has performed vocally on CDs produced by OPHEA and the McMillan Co., promoting the importance of Healthy Living in Children.
Chris’ passion for proper nutrition and exercise is demonstrated in his dynamic workshops and classes throughout Toronto.
