AppleTree Market Blog

Appletree Markets is Daily Apple’s non-profit organization, dedicated to maintaining a farmers’ market for the community, with an emphasis on local produce, cooking demonstrations, and free music and fitness classes…all in an effort to promote green living in a highly urban neighbourhood.

Our goal is to encourage people to learn more about fresh foods: where they come from, how they are grown, and how they can improve your health. Our mission is support local farmers, producers, artisans, artists, small neighbourhood shops and like-minded organizations. We ask people to think globally and shop locally, because the smallest things in life really do make a big difference.

AppleTree Market is located in mid-town Toronto in the green space of Eglinton Park, behind the North Toronto Memorial Arena at the end of Orchardview Blvd. Our 3rd outdoor season opens April 22nd, and runs every Thursday between 3pm-7pm.
